Did you know that ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ has over 1,300 labs on campus? Or that energy consumption in research buildings is responsible for the majority of ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½â€™s greenhouse gas emissions? As a part of the university’s goal to be climate neutral by 2050, the Office for Sustainability has launched the Green Labs Program.

This program aims to help your lab reduce energy and waste. Participation in the program involves a survey of your equipment and workflow, an optional in-person audit to collect data on your instruments and practices, and data-driven analysis on how you can be more green. Our student auditors will then produce a customized report with practical steps your lab can take to be more climate and waste friendly.
