By now you’ve met your orientation leaders, connected with new friends and more! Discover Week is still in full swing, but there are still dozens of events remaining, from social events to information sessions. We’re certain you’ll find an event you won’t want to miss.

Below are a few highlights from the rest of the week, but make sure to check your schedule so you don't miss anything!

Friday, Aug. 23

First Friday Game Night | 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Join Juniper and Mistletoe or Clarke Tower and Cedar Magnolia for a First Friday Game Night! Each community pairing will have outdoor yard games, indoor board games, and drinks and snacks. The perfect night for anyone looking to make some new friends, spend some time relaxing on campus and enjoying their first weekend at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½.

Saturday, Aug. 24

Campus Tours | 11 a.m. to noon OR 3 to 4 p.m.

If you’re interested in finding the physical locations for your fall semester classes, your orientation leaders will be providing tours around campus to show you buildings around campus and maybe a shortcut or two on your way to class. Confirm with your orientation leaders that you plan on attending and they will provide you with a location to meet them. Be sure to bring along your schedule so you can find the correct buildings!

Sparti Gras | 6 to 8 p.m.

If you’re passionate about media, want to find ways to express yourself or are just looking for a fun time, join University Media Board (UMB) for an evening of games, food and prizes! UMB’s organizations work with everything media—from journalism and theater, to movies radio. Their clubs are eager to answer questions, show off their cool work and meet new members like you! Come for a night of fun: get at-shirt, win a stuffed teddy bear (UMBear), play carnival games and make your own souvenirs from the event!
