The health and well-being of a child dictate the likelihood of their success in school.  It is why the Ohio Department of Education adopted the Whole Child Framework, and Say Yes Cleveland provides services for students beyond the classroom.  Our Schubert Associate and Advisor, Dr. Lisa Damour, moderates the discussion with panelists Meryl Johnson, Member, State Board of Education District 11; and retired teacher, CMSD (center left), Dr. Tracy Najera, Executive Director, Children's Defense Fund - Ohio (center right) and Joseph Spiccia, Superintendent, Wickliffe City School District (far right) discuss the current unprecedented youth mental health crisis and whether or not these programs can combat the problem.
