Lauren Calandruccio

with Lauren Calandruccio, Ph.D., CCC-A, Associate Professor | Auditory Perception, Psychological Sciences

Understanding speech in a noisy environment requires practice, and it can take years for children to hone their ability and train their auditory system.  Dr. Calandruccio will discuss auditory perception in noisy environments, like the classroom, and she will tell us about the experiments she conducted on how children perceive speech. The surprising turn her award-winning research took.

Presented in collaboration with The Community Health Research & Practice Seminar of the ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Masters in Public Health Program
