The Schubert Center for Child Studies is so grateful to Lisa Kollins as she bids farewell as our center administrator to take the helm of her inspiring Superhero Project full time!
Lisa joined our center weeks before the pandemic and in a very short time made her impressive mark here. Lisa not only ensured the smooth operations of our center during an extremely uncertain time but helped to extend our reach and impact through creative and diverse programming and ongoing efforts to integrate a racial justice and equity lens throughout our work. Indeed, Lisa has just been named to the ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Social Justice Institute Leadership Team given her extraordinary and longstanding social justice track record, including work with Cleveland teens, homeless youth, youth impacted by HIV/AIDS, refugees and immigrants, and more.
While we are sad to say goodbye, we are so excited for Lisa’s new chapter as the founder and now full time director of the Superhero Project, which has been featured in a number of articles and news stories, including in our own Case Daily -- we hope you’ll check it out. We couldn’t be more proud of Lisa and thankful for her time with our center. Please join us in wishing Lisa the best as she strives to lift up vulnerable kids and to connect communities to embrace and celebrate their lives!
