For the second year, the Schubert Center for Child Studies is partnering with the ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Masters of Public Health program to provide child and adolescent-focused content for The Community Health Research & Practice Seminar series. While the seminars are typically open to all MPH students, the sessions co-sponsored by the Schubert Center are open to our students, associates and community partners as well.
This year, our first collaborative session will be Trust of Healthcare Provider among Marginalized Youth, led by Dr. Heather K. Hardin. Dr. Hardin is a Schubert Faculty Associate and an Assistant Professor at the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing. Her expertise concerns trust of healthcare provider and health behaviors among health disparate adolescents and young adults. She will discuss trust of healthcare provider in marginalized populations and practical strategies for healthcare providers to enhance trust with their patients. The seminar will be held virtually on Tuesday, October 12, from 12-1 pm.
