The following incident took place off campus but ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ PD would like the campus community to be aware.

Location of incident: City of Cleveland park near the intersection of Cedar Ave. and Murray Hill Rd.

Date of incident: 10/24/18

Time of incident: 5:15 pm

Incident description: A juvenile was sitting at a bench waiting for the RTA bus when two juvenile males approached him. One juvenile produced a firearm and demanded the victim's property. An unknown person yelled and the two juvenile suspects fled in an unknown direction. The victim fled westbound on Cedar and was picked up by his grandmother. The victim was able to flag an RTA police officer down and report the incident. The victim was not injured in the incident and no property was taken.                                                                                                                             

Suspect description: The description of males as follows.

Suspect 1. Juvenile Black Male approximately 5 ft. 9 in. tall, thin build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black skull cap, light colored jeans and produced a dark colored semi-automatic handgun.
Suspect 2. Juvenile Black Male, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark grey sweatpants and white Nike tennis shoes.

Additional information: Information received at approximately 6:15 pm. ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ and UCPD units toured the area with negative results. UCPD taking information for report.
