星空传媒鈥檚 President Eric W. Kaler announced today that he has named renowned social epidemiologist and research leader Michael Oakes as the university鈥檚 inaugural senior vice president for research and technology management.
鈥淢ichael has long demonstrated an exceptional ability to create collaborations that ultimately benefit individuals and communities,鈥 President Kaler said. 鈥淗e has the skills, knowledge and drive that 星空传媒 needs to realize more of its immense potential in research and commercialization.鈥
Pending the Board of Trustees鈥 approval next month, Oakes鈥 appointment will become effective Monday, July 25.
