Research in the Neural Engineering Center in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ is mainly supported by grants from agencies and foundations including the National Institutes of Health, National Science Foundation, Veterans Affairs, Ohio Third Frontier, Ohio Board of Regents, Cleveland Foundation and private foundations.
The Neural Engineering Center's core facilities are located in the Wickenden Building on ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½'s campus and include:
- Surgical facilities for survival surgery
- Electrophysiology laboratories for in-vivo and in-vivo experimentation
- Electrode fabrication facilities
- Computer simulation for finite element design and analysis
- Microscopy facility
- Prototyping facility
- Tissue culture facility
- Offices for faculty, postdocs and students
Other facilities include:
