The ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ PA Class of 2025 was formally welcomed to ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ with a White Coat ceremony on Saturday, May 20, 2023. Students, family, and friends listened as medical director Dr. Anastasia Rowland-Seymour spoke about the history and meaning of the white coat.
Vice Dean of Medical Education Dr. Lia Logio served as the keynote speaker and shared advice with the students. Staying humble and listening to your patients were a few of the important take aways.
Program Director Jensen Lewis closed the ceremony with a request to families and friends. He asked them to ask the students 'what was the best part of your day?' when they talk to them. Jensen shared a story about how this important question has shaped the way he looks at each day and challenged the students and families to do the same.
Almost 200 people came together for the ceremony and dessert reception.
