Although, PAs are the only providers able to claim Category 1 CME for hours spent precepting, any provider who precepts is welcome to obtain CME through the ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ CME portal. The CME program is meticulously designed to enhance the knowledge, competence, and performance of health professionals, ultimately aiming to elevate patient care and community health. The curriculum of the CME activities encompasses a range of core competencies identified by ACGME/ABMS/IOM/IPE, focusing on critical areas such as quality, safety, inter-professional teamwork, population health, health disparities, diversity training, high reliability, and high value care.
Furthermore, the ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ CME program offers AMA Category 1 credit through a variety of educational formats including live conferences, enduring materials, web-based activities, and regularly scheduled series, with some departmental RSS activities also providing MOC credit alongside CME credit.
