The PA program is happy to welcome Bianca M. Placucci to our core faculty team. Born in São Paulo, Brazil, Placucci’s interest in education and medicine initially inspired her to become a high school science instructor—facilitating after-school programs to encourage minority students in underserved communities to pursue STEM.
As a student in the PA program, she channeled her passion into her involvement on campus, taking on leadership roles in ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½â€™s and PA Wellness Committee, as well as joining the Health Education Campus Interprofessional Committee.
After graduating the ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ PA program, she worked in surgery and emergency medicine at Cleveland Clinic and University Hospitals. She has supported our program for the last few years as an adjunct instructor and journal club facilitator. We are all happy to have her join us full time!
