Mr. Lewis is the Program Director for the Physician Assistant Program in the ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ School of Medicine. Professor Lewis received his Bachelor of Science in 2008 and Master of Physician Assistant Studies in 2011 from University of Mount Union in Alliance, Ohio. He worked as a PA in the Head & Neck Institute at the Cleveland Clinic between 2011 and 2014 and then moved to Boulder, Colorado where he continued practicing in otolaryngology. Prior to becoming a full time faculty member, he served as a clinical preceptor for various students, gave lectures at multiple institutions, and was a question writer for Rosh Review, an online medical board review question bank. He was awarded the Ohio Association of Physician Assistants Jerry A. Greco, PA-C Memorial Educator of the Year Award for 2020 and the Physician Assistant Education Association New Faculty Award for Professional Excellence in 2021. He currently sits on the Exam Development Board for the Emergency Medicine and Surgery End of Rotation Exam for PAEA. He is an avid Cleveland sports fan and, in his free time, enjoys playing sports, trying new restaurants, and traveling. He lives in Broadview Heights with his wife, daughter Sloan, son Wyatt, and their dog, Gatsby.
