Additional Information

Dr. Mara Beveridge is Director of Supportive Oncodermatology and Director of the Pigmented Lesions and Melanoma Surveillance within the Department of Dermatology. She is also a member of UH’s Multidisciplinary Cutaneous Oncology Conference. Her clinical interests include managing and caring for patients experiencing skin-related side effects to their cancer treatments. She works closely with colleagues at the Seidman Cancer Center to coordinate the care of these complex patients. She also sees patients who are high risk for melanoma for routine skin monitoring and prevention in addition to her general dermatology practice. 

Dr. Beveridge joined the department in 2018 and is a board-certified M.D. and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Beveridge completed her dermatology training at the University of Chicago where she was Chief Resident. She is a graduate of the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. Dr. Beveridge completed her internship at the University of Chicago as well.

Dr. Beveridge is involved in research and is a member of the Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer. She has been invited to deliver lectures both locally and nationally. She is published in such peer-reviewed journals as the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and Supportive Care in Cancer. She enjoys working with and mentoring residents and medical students.
