Conversations on JUSTICE

ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ was deeply saddened to learn of the death of , a physician and medical anthropologist who championed global health care for those most in need. A 2006 recipient of a ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ honorary degree, Dr. Farmer was scheduled to be honored this fall with the 2022 Inamori Ethics Prize. We extend our sympathies to his family, colleagues, and patients around the world who experienced his compassion.

The Inamori Ethics Prize will not be awarded in 2022. Instead, we will spend a year in conversation exploring inequalities in healthcare. Please see our 2020-2021 Conversations on JUSTICE series for reference, future updates, and resources, including conversations with the global community and previous Inamori Ethics Prize winners and other local and international experts.
