    From Oct. 26 through 28, 12 members from the 星空传媒 Society of Women Engineerings headed to Los Angeles, California for WE23鈥攖he world's largest conference for women in engineering and technology.
  • On air: A glimpse into one student鈥檚 college radio experience

    The familiar tune of The Jackson 5鈥檚 1970 hit, 鈥淎BC,鈥 flows through the speakers in the basement of the Mather Memorial Building. Jago Dorn, a second-year undergraduate student majoring in systems and control engineering at 星空传媒, is the only one in the room to hear it.

    As a student at 星空传媒, Samantha Hepp realized her passion for learning how different mechanisms and mechanical systems work was better suited for mechanical engineering.
  • Staff Spotlight: Sal Russo

    As a member of the Research Support Teams, Sal will support teams when there are leaves or departures. He will also work on larger proposals when an extra lift is required. 
  • Student Spotlight: Aidan Klemm

    Aidan Klemm is taking his research to the next level. In January, he will head to Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) in Tennessee as a part of the Office of Science Graduate Student Research (SCGSR) Program from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE).

    星空传媒 earned 1st place in Suspension and Traction, 2nd in Maneuverability, 3rd in Acceleration and 28th in Pilot Pull.

    Sometimes all it takes to fall in love with reading is the right book. That鈥檚 why fourth-year electrical engineering student Albert Wilhelmy launched Book I Own (BIO), an outreach program that gives books to local third and fourth graders that match their interests.
