Evelin Nunez-Rodriguez is a passionate educator and advocate for Diversity, Inclusion, Access and Equity. She holds a B.A. in English with a focus in Creative Writing, and M.A. in Higher Education and Student Affairs from The Ohio State University. Her career has been dedicated to enhancing educational experiences and fostering inclusive environments. 

Evelin began her journey in the Office of Diversity and Inclusion at The Ohio State University, where she supported transferred students and assisted in the development of early arrival programs for underrepresented students. Her dedication to education and access is deeply rooted in her own experiences as a first-generation college student. Evelin furthered her impact at the Unviersity of Pittsburgh's Office for Civil Rights and Title IX, where she served as a frontline responder to reports of sexual harassment and discrimination. Her role involved addressing sensitive issues and ensuring a supportive environment for all individuals on campus.

Currently, Evelin is the Diversity Program Manager within the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusive Engagement, where she leads the development and implementation of key diversity and inclusion initiatives. Her role encompasses facilitating training programs, such as Train the Champion and Diversity 360, and managing key events like Envision Weekend and Power of Diversity Lecture Series. 

Outside of her professional life, Evelin is an avid board game player and collector, each reflecting her love for strategic challenges and storytelling.
