Faculty Search Process

Faculty Training Sessions

Training Seminars

The Senior Director of Faculty and Institutional Diversity and the Faculty Diversity Coordinator conduct sessions throughout the year for faculty search process training.

Interrupting Unconscious Bias In the Hiring Process

This session, required for all faculty and staff members participating on faculty search committees, explores barriers within the faculty search process that prevent the fair evaluation of underrepresented candidates. Former participants will be required to attend a brief 30-minute refresher session if they have not attended the full training within the last two calendar years.

For questions, please contact Karyn Newton, Faculty Diversity Coordinator, at 216.368.2532 or karyn.newton@case.edu.

Successfully Executing the Faculty Search Process

This session, required for all administrators tasked with completing Affirmative Action forms, explains the process of posting ads and filling out the required paperwork for open faculty positions to meet OFCCP and university Affirmative Action requirements.

For questions, please contact Karyn Newton, Faculty Diversity Coordinator, at 216.368.2532 or karyn.newton@case.edu.

NOTE: Completion of both sessions by the appropriate department personnel is required before candidate interviews may begin.
