The Comprehensive Head and Neck Database (CHND) collects and maintains quality biospecimens and clinical data for purposes relating to head and neck/oral research, with specific focus on head and neck oncology. Head and neck cancers and related conditions affect millions of individuals globally, affirming the need for increased research on improved treatment and therapeutic approaches.
The Database is a collaboration between ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ School of Dental Medicine (ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ SODM) and University Hospitals ENT Institute, with the lead coordinating center located in the ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ SODM Department of Biological Sciences. Materials are collected from both disease and healthy adult patient populations and contain standard clinical, pathology, and outcome data. Qualified investigators are able to receive materials through an application process.
