Leslie Lim, MA (she/her) is the Leadership Programs Manager and WISER Advisor at the Mather Center. She is responsible for outreach efforts and initiatives which contribute to the growth of programs and services that will support and develop the leadership skills and professional success of students, staff, and faculty at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ (ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½). She currently oversees a variety of programs, including the Women Staff Leadership Development Institute (WSLDI), Program Rewarding Innovation in STEM Entrepreneurship (PRISE), STEM Allyship, and the Women in Science and Engineering Roundtable (WISER).

Prior to joining ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½, Leslie served as the Director of Admissions at Marshall B. Ketchum University’s (MBKU), School of Physician Assistant Studies in Fullerton, CA, where she was instrumental in the program’s development and its admissions operations since the program’s inception in 2013. She was a key part of the team in developing a holistic admissions process, implemented policies and procedures to meet accreditation standards, strategic recruitment efforts, and established pathway programs with local undergraduate institutions. She has presented at the Western Association of Advisors for the Health Professions conference on holistic application review and decision process for graduate health programs and served as a panelist at the American Association of Physician Assistants Pre-PA Workshop: Become A PA. Leslie began her career in higher education at the California State University, Office of the Chancellor working on the California Pre-Doctoral Program. She is passionate about mentoring, supporting students and empowering others from underrepresented groups and underserved communities to reach their goals and foster personal and professional growth.

Leslie earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies with a minor in Sociology from California State University, Long Beach and a master’s degree in Leadership Development with a concentration in Higher Education from Chapman University in Orange, CA. As a Southern California native, she’s looking forward to exploring Cleveland and northeast Ohio.
