The Michelson-Morley Experiment

The Michelson-Morley Experiment united researchers from Case School of Applied Science and Western Reserve. Physicist Albert A. Michelson collaborated with Western Reserve chemistry professor Edward W. Morley and disproved the existence of the “luminous aether,” the substance through which scientists previously believed light moved, and provided the basis for Albert Einstein to theorize that the speed of light is constant in all reference frames.
