Our Mission

The mission of the Program for Autism Education and Research is to coordinate basic, clinical, translational and interdisciplinary research across a consortium of institutions.

Our Goals

  • To facilitate translation of discoveries in Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) research into clinical practice by fostering integration and cross-fertilization among ASD research and treatment programs at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½, Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals, MetroHealth, and affiliated community resources.
  • To create new opportunities for basic, translational and clinical research in ASD by capitalizing on the combined strengths of researchers and clinicians at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½, Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals, MetroHealth, and affiliated community resources.
  • To support development of multi-center research programs at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½, Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals, MetroHealth, and affiliated community resources.
  • Provision of educational and training venues for graduate and post-doctoral scholars.
