Yufan Dong, PhD, CPA, joined the Weatherhead School of Management as an assistant professor of accountancy in 2023. Her research examines auditor behaviors in the context of client business choices, litigation risk, internal controls, and operational regulatory oversight. She also holds an active CPA license from the state of California, where she spent three years as an auditor at Deloitte & Touché. Her clients ranged from startups to Fortune 200 companies representing biotechnology, retail & distribution, and software industries. Yufan received her PhD in Business Administration from Temple University and Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
