5 Under 35 Award (previously the Young Alumni Award)

This award will be presented to 5 individuals who are 35 years of age or younger as of July 15, 2024. Their achievements may include (1) extraordinary success in a career since graduating from Weatherhead (2) creation of or significant involvement in the formation of a successful enterprise (3) demonstrated a commitment to service of their alma mater, in their local community, or to humankind or (4) recognition by colleagues and peers for outstanding leadership and administrative abilities.

 

The 2023 recipients of the 5 under 35 Award:

  • Bruce Douglas (CWR ’10), president of The Douglas Company
  • Erin Drotleff (MGT ’20), vice president of sourcing at Oatey Co. 
  • Charity May (CWR ’13), founder of Sacred Futures
  • Leonela Mora (MGT ’16), senior manager of apprenticeships at the Greater Cleveland Partnership; founder and director of Leonela Flourishing LLC
  • Nathan Sundheimer (MGT ’19), head of U.S. healthcare partnerships at Plug and Play Tech Center
