In simple terms, I craft learning adventures. I work, alongside my team, to assist faculty in developing engaging and effective learning materials that transform information into knowledge, skills, and behaviors.
I graduated with a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the American University of Beirut (Lebanon, my home country). However, I am also a communications specialist (I wanted to be able to connect with humans, not only machines). Blending the two fields I love the most, my first job was teaching a university course on Public Speaking for Engineers. That got me into the field of education, and eventually into instructional design.
My favorite part of working at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ is the team! Being surrounded by supportive and caring individuals creates a healthy work environment where you can thrive and grow.
My parents, brother, and husband are my world. Whatever I like to do, I enjoy doing it with them. I love the outdoors. Whether I'm hiking, snowshoeing, rafting, or simply reading a book under a tree, you'll find me outside (unless it's raining, which rarely happens in Cleveland).
I was a public speaking champion in Lebanon and Jordan in 2017, and I was the president of the first public speaking club that operates in Arabic in Lebanon.
