Use the instructions below to connect your devices to eduroam.
- Go to Settings.
- Select option for connecting to wi-fi. This varies between systems. It may be "Connections" or "Network & internet".
- Select "Wi-Fi".
- Select "eduroam" from list of networks.
- Enter these settings:
- EAP Method: PEAP
- Phase-2 Authentication (if required): MSCHAPV2
- CA Certificate: Use system certificates or Do not validate
- Domain (if required): case.edu
- Identity: your network ID followed by "@case.edu" (ex: abc123@case.edu)
- Anonymous identity: leave blank
- Password: your ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ network passphrase
- Select "Connect".
- If asked, accept the certificate.
- Your device will connect to eduroam anywhere it finds the network.
- Open "Settings".
- Select "Wi-Fi".
- Under "Networks" select "eduroam" from the list of networks.
- Enter these settings:
- Username: your network ID followed by "@case.edu" (ex. abc123@case.edu)
- Password: your ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ network passphrase
- Select "Join".
- On the Certificate screen select "Trust".
- Your device will connect to eduroam anywhere it finds the network.
- Select the Start icon from the taskbar, then "Settings".
- From the Settings window, select "Network & Internet".
- Select "Show available networks".
- Select "eduroam" from the list of networks.
- In the "Sign in" window enter these settings
- Username: your network ID followed by "@case.edu" (ex. abc123@case.edu)
- Password: your ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ network passphrase
- Press "Ok"
- When the security notification will appear, select "Connect"
- Your device will connect to eduroam anywhere it finds the network.
- Select network icon from the menu bar.
- Select "eduroam" from the list of networks.
- Enter these settings:
- Username: your network ID followed by "@case.edu" (ex. abc123@case.edu)
- Password: your ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ network passphrase
- Select "Join"
- When prompted with certificated, select "Trust"
- Your device will connect to eduroam anywhere it finds the network.
