[U]Tech Advises Apple Users to Apply Critical Security Updates to Devices

[U]Tech's Information Security Office advises ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ community members with devices running iOS, iPadOS and MacOS to update their devices immediately due to a .

The update fixes critical vulnerabilities that allow for malicious applications to elevate privileges and allow remote attackers to execute malicious code without the owner’s knowledge or consent. These vulnerabilities may have already been actively exploited according to Apple, and as long as a device has not been updated, that device may be a future target.

Affected devices include iPhones dating back to the 6S model, iPad 5th generation and later, iPad Air 2 and later, iPad mini 4 and later, all iPad Pro models, and the 7th generation iPod touch.

To check what version of iOS or MacOS you have installed, navigate from Settings to General to About to Software Version. Update your device by going to Settings then General then Software Update.
