The 2016 Edition of the CAPS course All Things Travel will be presented on Wednesday, January 27th from 1-3 pm in the Kelvin Smith Library, Room 215. The course is presented by Michael Kurutz of ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½'s Travel Services Department.
The first part of the course reviews ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Travel Policy, best practices, and an array of examples to resolve your most difficult travel questions. Included is an overview of 2016 industry trends covering airline fares/service, hotel pricing/inventory, and changes facing the car rental industry. The American Express Travel and Expense Card, the Enterprise CarShare program, and a new discount university hotel booking portal will also be discussed.
The second part of the course provides a hands-on introduction to the PeopleSoft Financials Travel and Expense Module. Included will be useful tips, a summary of recent fixes, and common pitfalls so you can use can maximize your use of the module to save time and avoid expense report send backs/denials. The course's interactive format encourages sharing of travel-related situations and issues from many areas of the university community.
