The Swetland Center would like to take a moment to thank two of our team members who are moving on from their time with us to pursue other opportunities.
Lauren Vargo, former Ohio Produce Perks Evaluation Program Manager will be taking on a new role with Change Matrix, LLC. She will be a Research Consultant and Evaluator working on a variety of health equity-focused projects. Primarily, she will be supporting the evaluation of the Healthy Food for Denver's Kids and be working directly with grantees who are making an impact on the food system in Denver, Colorado.
Change Matrix is a woman and minority-owned consulting business that is committed to culturally responsive and equitable evaluation, capacity-building to create inclusive communities, and supporting system-level change that improves lives on a local, national, and global scale.
Brinda Athreya, Research Associate of the Swetland Center has completed her term with us and is exploring several new opportunities. She has completed a yoga instructor training and will begin teaching classes. Additionally, she completed mindfulness courses from Monash University to both teach and practice.
We thank them for their time, talent, and contributions to the center and to environmental health equity during their tenure with the center. We wish them the best in their future ventures!
