Vanessa earned a Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Southern California (USC) in 2020; she also holds a MEd from Pepperdine University and a BA in History from The Ohio State University. Vanessa spent the last 9 years working at USC - nearly 6 years for the Rossier School of Education and the last 3 years working for the USC Mann School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, where she oversaw career development programming and managed events for PharmD students. Her background includes career services, program development and academic advising. Vanessa recently moved back to her hometown of Cleveland with her husband and one-year-old daughter.
