This is a video recording of a training event by the Center for Evidence-Based Practices that took place on May 11, 2010, titled "Addressing Tobacco Dependence in Behavioral and Physical Healthcare Settings: Strategies for the Medical Professional." The event was a free video conference that took place at multiple sites throughout Ohio and was broadcast from the Northeastern Ohio Universities Colleges of Medicine and Pharmacy (NEOUCOM).

The event highlighted core principles and practices of "Tobacco: Recovery Across Continuum" (TRAC), a stage-based motivational model that supports tobacco cessation and recovery among people with severe mental illness (SMI), substance use disorders, and co-occurring disorders (learn more).
