This poster is a quick guide for direct-service providers utilizing the principles and practices of Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment (IDDT), the evidence-based practice. The poster outlines the four stages of treatment (i.e., engagement, persuasion, active treatment, relapse prevention) and provides a few reminders about the clinical focus of each stage. Display this poster in your office. Use it as a reminder to ask yourself important questions for each person you serve each time you meet with him or her:
In what stage of treatment is this person?
What can I do to keep myself aligned with his or her needs and readiness, willingness, and ability to change?
Also, use this poster as an educational tool. Use it to facilitate conversations about integrated treatment with consumers, family members, and community stakeholders.
We also developed a mini poster (8.5x11鈥) to leave on your desk or carry with you into the community.
