About the Program

As you dive deeper into the human psyche, you'll learn how to help individuals suffering from severe mental health problems. What to Expect

Through our integrated program, you’ll complete two degrees within four to five years at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½, the #1 private university in Ohio—saving you time while you expand your knowledge of the brain, emotions, cognition, social behavior and psychological health through courses on topics such as personality theory, measurement of behavior, advanced social psychology and more.

Once accepted in your senior year of your undergraduate studies, you must complete at least 30 credit hours of graduate coursework to obtain the Master of Arts in General Psychology degree. You’ll meet this requirement with courses in cognition and information processing, physiological foundations of behavior, learning and personality theories, and other subjects. And, you'll spend six credit hours of the program preparing a thesis (or you can opt to take a comprehensive exam).

Admissions Requirements

You must be admitted to ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½â€™s undergraduate psychology program. When you’ve completed 75 credit hours of undergraduate coursework, you may apply to the master’s portion of your degree through the School of Graduate Studies.

Normally, this means you will submit your application in the sixth semester of the BA program (usually the spring term of the junior year)
