What to Expect

Complete your master's degree in nutrition in one to two years, or just 30 credit hours. There is no one standardized curriculum for the MS in nutrition, and you don't need a bachelor's degree in nutrition to qualify. You can choose full- or part-time study, with a goal of completing an accredited didactic program in dietetics (DPD), post-baccalaureate premedical program or completing the master’s degree after establishing your career in dietetics.

Beyond the Classroom

You'll find opportunities for community-based research, teaching and taking leadership roles suited to your future career plans. Join hospital-led research in community centers, educate the public about diabetes and teach real students. Beyond a diverse curriculum, you'll also learn the human behaviors associated with nutrition, volunteer through university groups and network at social events.
