What to Expect
You’ll have to complete your Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering: course-only, project-focused or research-focused. All tracks follow the collaborative, hands-on approach Case School of Engineering faculty have used for 140 years.
If you decide on a research-focused path, you may also apply for departmental research positions, which offer full tuition and support. In this approach, your research may act as an expansion of real-world projects happening at NASA and other aerospace companies. The project-focused path has a similar focus but allows you to design a project on your own without ties to a company. And with a course-only track, you can complete your degree in just a year and a half.
Regardless of your path, you’ll have access to leading-edge programs that allow you to study aerostructure design, flow dynamics and thermodynamics in experiential ways. We focus on five areas of excellence in our program: mastery of fundamentals, creativity, societal awareness, leadership skills and professionalism.
