Tammy Randall is an instructor and director of the MS in Public Health Nutrition Dietetic Internship, teaching classes on public health nutrition and diabetes prevention and management. She is a registered dietitian and certified diabetes care and education specialist who received her BS in nutrition and MS in public health nutrition from ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½. Before joining the faculty at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½, she was a diabetes educator for the Cleveland Clinic’s Endocrinology and Metabolism Institute, director of education at the Diabetes Partnership of Cleveland and an extension educator for the Ohio State University Cooperative Extension Service.
Tammy is very active in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, having served as president of both the Cleveland District and Ohio Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. At the national level, she is currently Speaker of the House of Delegates and a member of the Academy’s board of directors. She has previously served as Delegate from Ohio, chair of the Academy’s Member Value Committee and a member of the Academy Positions Committee, Evidence Based Practice Committee, Council on Future Practice, Finance and Audit Committee and Public Health and Community Nutrition Committee. She has received the President’s Award and Member Merit Award from the Ohio Academy, Distinguished Service Award from the Cleveland District, and is recognized as a Fellow of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
