ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Vice President for Research and Technology Management, bioethics professor and leadership of theCTSC Regulatory Knowledge team, Dr. Suzanne Rivera weighs in on the lack of diversity in biomedical research.

"The lack of diversity of participants is a big problem," Dr. Rivera said. To attract diverse participants, researchers can have flexible hours so people plan around their workday, and have more meetings in familiar settings and away from college campuses, such as churches and community centers.
