The purpose of the Sports & Entertainment Law Society is to provide members, alumni, and all organizational stakeholders with access to industry insight and education, through the active engagement of experienced professionals that will assist students in the growth and development of their careers, while also grooming their interests in becoming a sports or entertainment professional. SELS achieves this goal by helping members to cultivate a valuable nexus of industry professionals, through a variety of activities including but not limited to inviting various guest lecturers to speak about their industry experience and other topics of interest, hosting networking and social events exclusively and in partnership with organizations with similar objectives and targeted audiences. Additionally, the organization seeks to provide members and participants with informational resources that can be used in their career development process.
