Samantha Steinberg

Samantha Steinberg serves as a member of the national development team at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½. She manages a portfolio of donors, keeping attuned to their interests, fostering relationships, facilitating communication and supporting strategic fundraising efforts at the university. 

Samantha coordinates donations for the Siegal Lifelong Learning Program, the Judaic Studies program at the university, the Albert & Norma Geller Hillel Student Center, the Center for International Affairs and the Israel Research Collaboration. Samantha was integral in initiating the Israel Research Collaboration in 2020, a groundbreaking partnership with Israeli institutions, helping establish research collaborations with multiple Israeli institutions in cancer, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity research.

Prior to joining the National Development team, Samantha was a Major Gifts Officer for the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center where she identified, cultivated, solicited, and stewarded major gift donors and prospects. In addition, Samantha oversaw donations to the Research Innovation Fund which allowed the cancer center to fund research projects in their early stages not yet eligible for larger grants.

Before joining ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½, Samantha served as the director of development at the Fuchs Mizrachi School in Beachwood, Ohio for five years, running the annual campaign, major events, development marketing and endowment efforts. She served as the director of admissions and marketing at Robert M. Beren Academy in Houston for seven years and prior to that worked at Tishman Speyer Properties and Goldman Sachs in New York City.

Samantha received her bachelor's degree in history from Touro College in New York City. Born in South Africa and raised in Canada, Samantha now lives in Beachwood. Samantha is a proud mom to three children.
