Here at the ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Veale Institute for Entrepreneurship, our superpower is connecting people. So we think Global Entrepreneurship Week is the best time for us to share content about the people, events and startups that make up the ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ entrepreneurship ecosystem.
Recently, our executive director was part of the broadcast team for ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ men's and women's soccer games against Emory University, alongside ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ President and (CWR '19; GRS '20, engineering and management).
Dickens, who turned down an offer from GE to become head of product development—the second employee—at startup , says that her experiences at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ "definitely" prepared her for wearing many hats at a startup company.
"Being able to be involved in so much on campus helped with that well-rounded aspect that you need," she says. "I participated in the Think Energy fellowship on Case Western's campus, which encourages entrepreneurship in the energy world. All of those experiences really set me up well to have success in the startup world."
