Robert Corell (CIT ’56; GRS ’64, mechanical engineering)

Climate scientist and alumnus Robert Corell played a critical role in the findings of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change; the panel’s Fourth Assessment Report brought global attention to the issue of climate change, and earned the group the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize.

Corell is principal of the Global Environment & Technology Foundation and an ambassador for the ClimateWorks Foundation.
