There’s a reason you want to be a leader in the , , and economics. And it probably has a lot to do with making a difference in the world—with using your skills to teach others, bring joy and be a catalyst for change.

That’s what we want for you, too. So why would you wait until graduation to start?

At ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½, you’ll be immersed in an experiential education where you’ll contribute to bettering society from day one. Nearly 60% of ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ liberal arts students take part in community learning experiences, where they use their skills to make an impact on lives in our community and beyond.

What are they doing? Take a look at just a few examples:

  • Providing literacy support and STEM activities for local kids from kindergarten to 8th grade
  • Diverting excess food from campus to area community centers
  • Connecting with youth involved in the juvenile justice system to create art, hold book discussions and engage in creative writing exercises
  • Hosting dialogues on healthcare topics to improve health literacy
  • Assisting adults working to complete their GEDs
  • Helping people with dementia express their creativity through art
  • Building relationships and providing food to people experiencing homelessness

When you put your skills to work for others, BIG things happen—for yourself, for your resume and for the community around you. Wins all around.

We are grateful for your continued interest in ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ and will continue to stay connected with you during the coming weeks.
