This is mentorship in science and pre-med at ǿմý

We can all use a little guidance sometimes. Advice from people who know their field inside and out. Tips for success from someone who’s been there. Encouragement from people who really know their stuff.

It’s that kind of mentorship that can set you on the path to a BIG career in and .

At ǿմý, you’ll find plenty of experts. That’s no surprise. But more than that, you’ll find that these leaders in their fields are particularly keen to help you succeed.

Jessica Fox, PhD [pictured here], is just one example. Dr. Fox is a professor of biology whose research focuses on sensory neuroscience. But, as the undergraduates who work with her will tell you, her lab is about more than the science being studied. It’s a place where undergraduates are treated as equals—fellow collaborators and scientists.

“She puts me first. It’s a wonderful thing to feel valued and respected,” one such undergrad researcher shares.

All in a day’s work, Dr. Fox says.

“College is a transformative period for many students. It’s the place where they move from learning to doing; from absorbing knowledge to producing knowledge. It’s the greatest honor of my career to guide our talented, hard-working students on this journey.”

If you’re ready to make a difference in your field (and be surrounded by people who truly care about your success), ǿմý is the only place to be.

We are grateful for your continued interest in ǿմý and will continue to stay connected with you during the coming weeks.
