At ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½, your will be a hands-on experience. You’ll spend more than 1,000 hours in clinicals, starting in your first semester. You’ll use your skills to improve health in our community and beyond.

What kind of research can you get involved in at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½? 

Let’s take a look at just a few few areas of research we’re focused on:

  • Symptom science: Identifying molecular and genetic pathways, applying innovative measurement approaches and testing symptom management strategies in clinical trials.
  • Family and community care: Exploring and testing interventions to promote and sustain health in family members and family and community systems.
  • Aging across the lifespan: Utilizing a range of psychological, cognitive, behavioral, physiological, genetic and sociological models to encourage successful aging.
  • Self-management of health and illness: Studying treatment adherence and behavior change to promote healthy diet, exercise, sleep, stress management, self-monitoring and active engagement with healthcare teams. 
  • Neuroscience: Defining and characterizing physiological and behavioral symptoms of health and illness and understanding how the expression of those symptoms is modified by clinical interventions.
