ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ is the place for engineers with bright futures

There’s a reason that ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ is the university of choice for with bright futures—people like you.

That’s because ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ puts you on the path to reaching your goals. And because the experience you get at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ will launch your career in a BIG way.

Take senior Yaw Boateng [pictured], for example.

An electrical engineering major, Yaw was drawn to the opportunities available at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½â€™s Sears think[box] innovation center (the largest of its kind at any university in the United States). He was inspired by the experiential learning opportunities at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½, and took full advantage throughout his time at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½.

  • He worked on a team that made a VR version of the game Battleship that took first place in the competition.
  • He took 3D scans and prepared digital models of complex art pieces such as a Della Robbia for the conservation department of the Cleveland Museum of Art.
  • He held an internship at Google, where he worked on building testing hardware for the Pixel phone.
  • He completed a co-op with Keithley Instruments, a subsidiary of Tektronix, a company that designs and repairs testing and measurement equipment.
  • He will spend his summer interning with Tektronix.

At ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½, you’ll have access to the equipment, expertise and opportunities to reach your goals. You’ll graduate as a capable and confident engineer with the skills to make your plans a reality.

And I can’t wait to see you thrive.

We are grateful for your continued interest in ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ and will continue to stay connected with you during the coming weeks
