We know that hands-on learning experiences—like internships, creative endeavors, research and community learning—make all the difference in allowing you to get the experience you need in your field. So we dedicate teams of professionals to ensuring that you get to take part in the opportunities that will matter in building your career.

  • The Career Center will offer events (think career fairs and workshops), coaching, assessments, and other resources to help you define and reach your goals—and build your standout resume. One of those resources is the Experiential Education Database, a central database for students to search for and explore the many opportunities for experiential education sponsored and coordinated by ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½. 
  • Your major advisor is an expert in your field.They’ll make sure you take the classes that meet your interests and provide guidance on how to best prepare for your career. 
  • Your library advisor will be your go-to resource for accessing the tools and resources you need for compiling evidence-based research that will advance your field.  
  • Professionals in research and creative endeavors will make sure you know about opportunities for research and creativity that align with your plans for the future. They’ll help you get the experiences that will allow your career to thrive.
  • The Center for Civic Engagement and Learning will connect you with opportunities to put your skills to work for the betterment of others in our community—giving you experience while improving lives in meaningful ways.
  • The Office for Education Abroad will connect you with international experiences—including coursework, research, internships and service learning to make an impact around the world.
  • Your four-year advisor is available to help you reflect on your experiences, brainstorm and refer you to new opportunities, and put the puzzle pieces together along your journey at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½.
