When you study at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½, you’ll prepare for a career not only as a skilled and compassionate nurse, but as a leader in the healthcare field.
By the time you graduate you’ll earn more than 1,000 hours of clinical experience, nearly double the national average. What’s more, you’ll have the chance to leave a lasting mark on the future of the nursing profession.
Take third-year nursing major Audrey Smallman [pictured here], for example. With support and guidance from her faculty advisor, she traveled to a meeting of the National Student Nurses Association (NSNA) to garner their support for a resolution she and her team drafted to protect patients from social media usage in clinical settings.
The result? The national organization made a recommendation to universities nationwide to train nursing students about social media usage and HIPAA compliance to ensure patient privacy.
Audrey has recently been elected as a member of the resolutions committee of the NSNA, where she’ll influence future policies that affect nursing education across the country.
At ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½, you’ll gain not only the hands-on nursing experience you’ll need. You’ll also graduate prepared to be an influential healthcare policy-maker, educator and leader. You’ll become the nurse this world needs.
