Starting as early as their first year, 95% of ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ science and math students participate in research. And not only does that research boost their resume and give them impressive experience in their areas of interest, it can make a huge impact on lives around the world.

That’s certainly the case for biology major Ethan Lin, a senior whose work is providing insights into how cancers form. His research could one day facilitate more precise targeting of future chemotherapeutic agents—leading to improved treatment strategies for cancer patients.

It’s impressive experience for sure. But it’s not unusual at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½.
