Your nursing education should set you apart as a healthcare leader—equipped to tackle any challenge.

That’s what you'll get at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½'s Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing.

Fourth-year nursing student Linnea Tyler [pictured here], is paving the way toward being a healthcare professional with a future as a nurse anesthetist. This is thanks to the nursing education she’s getting at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½â€”a combination of classroom and in-the-field experiences, including over 1,000 clinical hours (that’s nearly double the national average!).

  • Lab experiences on campus: Linnea takes patients’ vital signs and practices skills like medication administration.
  • Clinicals at MetroHealth Medical Center: She puts her lab experiences to the test and is involved in critical care situations with real patients—including initiating CPR.

These experiences have not only enhanced Linnea’s nursing skills, they’ve made her more confident in her abilities—especially her ability to stay cool under pressure and provide quality patient care.

Confident and ready to lead, Linnea will start her nursing career at MetroHealth in the summer of 2024 (yup... she already has a job after graduation!).

Like Linnea, you will embark on a hands-on journey that will enable you to stand out and excel as a healthcare professional. Our bachelors of nursing program will prepare you by providing countless opportunities to work with real patients and collaborate with and learn from top-notch faculty and medical professionals and caregivers.
