I. STATEMENT OF RESEARCH AND SCIENTIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
● A highly motivated and skilled researcher with experience in Cardiovascular Biology
● Projects currently address the role of extracellular matrix in cardiac development and disease
● The qualified candidate will utilize genetics, histomorphology, cell culture and biostatistical techniques.
● The Postdoctoral Fellow will be given the opportunity to present data at departmental seminars and scientific meetings, prepare manuscripts, and contribute preliminary data for their own as well as laboratory grant proposals.
II. TECHNICAL SKILLS

- Experience in animal disease models is highly desirable
- Experience with tissue histology and microscopy is strongly preferred
- Experience in scRNA seq and proteomics is preferred but not required
III. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise laboratory technicians, visiting scholars, graduate and undergraduate student trainees in experimental design and data analysis in a variety of projects.
IV. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D., preferably trained in a Biological field such as Molecular Biology
- A background in Cardiovascular Biology is highly preferred. - The successful candidate must have strong analytical, oral and written communication skills.
